The panel will discuss what Congress is doing to help the real estate industry and also highlight some traps for the unwary. In addition, the panel will discuss whether there are opportunistic transactions or other tax benefits that are available especially in light of the recently enacted Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (a.k.a. CARES Act).
